Ventilation
The safety, health, and longevity of both personnel and equipment depend on proper ventilation both above and below ground. We provide an analysis of the current ventilation system and offer designs that will allow for a more efficient, cost-effective solution.
Tunneling
Tunnels are specialized pieces of engineering that must consider surrounding rock pressures, tunnel size and shape, longevity, ventilation, and geologic inconsistencies. We provide designs that are as safe and simple to build which reduces the likelihood of mistakes, disasters, and construction delays.
Subsidence
Subsidence is a real issue facing underground mining operations, which can cause major damage to surface facilities if it is not carefully planned for. We provide subsidence design, planning, and monitoring to ensure that surface displacement as a result of mining activities is contained to the degree that the public is safe, and the mining company can continue operations without fear of unintentional damages.
Dams
Dams are used in various capacities both above and below ground. Each dam will have its own challenges such as topography, sedimentation, effective building materials, and pure volume and type of liquid being restrained.
